15-Minute: Canned Peach Chicken

Sweet and Savory!

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs chicken breast / thighs

  • 8-10 pieces of canned peaches

  • 1/2 bell pepper of your choice

  • 1 stalk of scallion

  • 2 slices of ginger

  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)

  • 1/2 tbsp of Chinese wine

    Marinade

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp corn starch

  • dash of pepper

  • 1 tbsp of oil (add last)

    Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp corn starch

  • 3 tbsp canned peach syrup

  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

1. Prep:

  • Cut ginger into slices, crush the garlic and chop the scallions.

  • Drain the peaches and reserve the syrup.

  • Cut the chicken into bite size pieces and add marinade.

Pro Tip: add the oil the last.

2. Cook:

  • Add 2 tbsp of oil to heated pan, cook ginger and garlic until fragrant.

  • Add the chicken and cook until starting to turn color. Pour the wine and stir.

  • Pour in the peaches and bell pepper. Keep stirring until chicken is fully cooked.

3. Create the glaze: Add the seasoning and cook until it thickens.
