Super Easy: One Pot Soy Sauce Chicken

Juicy and tender!

Ingredients

  • 1 small full chicken (approx. 2 lbs)

  • 4 slices fresh ginger

  • 3 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp sake

  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 4 tbsp light soy sauce

Instructions

1. Prep:

  • Slice ginger and pat dry the chicken.

2. Put everything together:

  • Put all the ingredients in a deep pan / wok.

  • Turn on medium-low heat and cook for 20 minutes.

  • Flip once after 20 minutes.

  • Save the sauce for dipping.
